The Gift Card Program (Scrip) is one of the BEST fundraisers

to help CRS EARN money in a hassle-free way! There is NO selling

involved. It’s convenient to use and gift cards make great gifts!

 

The reason why this works is simple: CRS families generate revenue

through purchases they would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, toys,

gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with scrip.

 

How the program works: You purchase the gift cards through the PTO.

An order form will be sent home once a month (twice in December) with the due/delivery dates on them. These shopping cards

are the SAME cards that you would get if you purchased them

directly from the store.

 

For example, if you bought a $50 Stop and Shop card, it would cost

you $50 and then is redeemable at the store for the full $50. Since you

bought the cards through the PTO, the PTO gets a commission

(percentage is listed next to the retailer on the order form) on the sale .

 

If 100 families purchased just $100 a month in Stop and Shop cards at

4% earnings, (we all use groceries) from Sept-June,

our school would earn $4,000!
