2017-2018 Yearbooks On Sale – Orders are $25. You can send in an order form and cash or check made out to CRS PTO. Reminder to 5th grade parents – You do not need to send in an order/money for your student’s yearbook. The PTO provides a yearbook to every 5th grade student at no charge! If you have already sent in money/order, we will be returning that back to you!

5th Grade Recognition Volunteers Needed – Wednesday 6/20, 1:00 PM – Following the recognition ceremony, students and families are invited into the cafeteria for a reception hosted by the PTO. We need about 4 parents to help set up in the cafeteria, serve fruit, cake, and water, and then clean up afterwards from about 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. If you are able to volunteer, please use this link to sign up,

Rita’s Restaurant Fundraiser – Wednesday 6/20, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Come cool off with a frozen custard treat! There will also be a prize wheel there where you can spin the wheel and win something free or at a discount! We will also be selling Rita’s Fundraiser Cards that night too! You can purchase one for $5 and it will give you a 15% discount all season long each time you use it! And the good news is, for every card we sell, the PTO keeps $4 and Rita’s gets $1! These cards are purchased by cash only and we need a few volunteers to sit at Rita’s and sell these cards for us. Please use this link to sign up for a shift,

Box Tops – Don’t forget to keep clipping them all summer long. We’ll do another collection shortly after school starts in September!

Volunteers Needed – Please click here for the volunteer flyer. Beginning next school year, the PTO has many volunteer positions available that will need to be filled. Many of these spots are held by 5th grade parents who will be leaving CRS. These positions NEED to be filled otherwise we may not be able to continue the school event. So please, if you have a little bit of time to volunteer, contact Raychel Wishart, and she will answer any questions you may have or put you in touch with the current person running the event, so that they may answer any questions and help guide you.

Pictures Needed – Lets try something new and fun! Lets show off our school spirit by posting pictures of the kids dressed for spirit days! Simply email your pictures to Raychel Wishart, and she’ll make a collage of the kids and post to our Facebook page! And if you’d like your pictures added to the yearbook, email them (actual/largest file size) to

PTO Money – The PTO has such an important job when it comes to funding and planning out the school year! We try to plan a lot of fun events as well as support our teachers and staff at Center Road School. And yes, we do this through fundraising and some would say a lot of fundraising! But it all goes towards making your children’s elementary school years as fun as possible! So, ever wonder just what we do with the money we raise? Well click here is a brief description of all the wonderful things the PTO does.

Attention 5th Grade Parents – A note to 5th grade parents. You may not be aware, but the PTO pays for the entire 5th grade field trip to Boston, which in the past has included the parent chaperones. Unfortunately, due to rising costs, we will now be asking the chaperones to pay for their tickets. However, the PTO will waive the chaperone fee to any parents who volunteer at least 3 hours of their time at one of our many events! Please understand that the PTO does NOT pick the parents that get to chaperone. That is up to the discretion of the teacher and the “way” they choose their chaperones. The PTO board can only keep track of who will need to pay their way or who will have the fee waived. Volunteering your time does NOT guarantee you will be a chaperone.

Attention PTO Committee Chairs – In order to help volunteers run future PTO events/fundraisers, we’re creating a place on our PTO website where anyone can go to view what is involved in a particular event. If you have chaired a PTO event, please email Raychel Wishart, and provide any information about that particular event (i.e. do you send a flyer home with students, does it involve a permission slip being signed, do you need the building form completed, etc.)
